Gippsland Private Forestry Inc hereafter referred to as "GPF" respects the privacy of every person who visits our website or responds to any interactive feature that may be contained within our website.

This Privacy Statement outlines the information GPF may collect and how we will use that information.

All privacy practices and methods described herein only apply insofar as permitted by the applicable standards, laws and requirements and as limited by the website or interactive feature you are visiting. In addition to the privacy commitments outlined below, GPF takes every reasonable measure to comply with your country's privacy regulations.

Information Collected

GPF has a stringent privacy policy regarding individuals or organisations contributing materials for publishing on this website. No details of any kind other than those previously approved will be published or forwarded to any organisation without prior permission of the individual or organisation concerned.

No personal  information is automatically collected from visitors to this site via electronic means. E-mail addresses and other personally identifiable data about visitors to this website when submitted voluntarily will be known only to GPF and will not be passed on, sold or distributed to any other person(s) or organisation(s).

Users should be aware that when they voluntarily disclose personal information (e.g. username, email address, phone numbers, etc) on such services as bulletin boards or in chat areas, that information can be collected and used by others and may result in unsolicited messages.

Aggregate Data & Cookies

GPF may occasionally ask visitors to complete surveys and opinion polls about their interests, needs, and attitudes. Surveys help us provide better services  and enable us to make informed assessments on Forestry related issues. Participation is completely voluntary and these surveys are optional.

Aggregate and Statistical Data

GPF uses web log information (such as your web browser, operating system, pages visited, etc.) to help us design our website, to identify popular features, and for other managerial purposes. However, web logs may be used if necessary to help identify any person attempting to break into or damage our website. We may share web log information with law enforcement agencies if we believe that we have evidence of a violation of computer security or related laws.

The GPF website may contain links to other websites. GPF is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites. We recommend you carefully read the privacy policies of each site you visit.
